Amsterdam’s startup scene thrives as a diverse hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, spanning technology, sustainability, health, and more. With support from incubators, accelerators, and venture capital firms, they are growing steadily.

The city is known for its resilience and appeals to a wide array of investors, which is evident as many startups in the city are currently raising funding.

According to Dealroom, Amsterdam-based startups have raised between 40 to 60 per cent of the total VC investment into the Netherlands since 2018.

As the ecosystem prepares for another year of remarkable growth and being a vibrant environment for innovative ventures, here’s a look at startups that are fundraising right now.

Jedo is a mobile app designed for explorers, primarily targeting women aged 25 to 35. The app aims to optimise outdoor experiences by providing an AI-powered library of outdoor trip suggestions, comparable to Spotify playlists.

Users can access free AI-guidance for their trips and have the option to book through the app.

Jedo also offers a range of tools and discounts, positioning itself as a complete platform to streamline the outdoor exploration process and enhance both time and cost efficiency for users.
