This year heavyweight, featherweight and cloudweight startups will battle it out with eachother during Amsterdam Capital Week. At the final of Get in the Ring Amsterdam on September 29th, participating startups will pull no punches in a no holds barred pitching event.
Five rounds to knock out the competition
Get in The Ring is one of the biggest startup pitch competitions worldwide, taking place in more than 80 countries already. At this event, startups get to pitch themselves to a crowd of investors, fans and fellow entrepreneurs. But Get in the Ring is not an event where startups can just do a little sales spiel, quite the contrary: startups battle it out with eachother one-on-one in the ring. In five rounds of 30 seconds each, startups have to convince their audience of the different qualities their company has to offer. The topics are team, achievements, business model & market, financials & proposition and a freestyle round to top it off. This way startups answer all the questions a potential investor needs to know in a nutshell. The battles will all be followed by a quick Q&A, after which a jury together with the audience will decide the winner.
