Founded by Labinot Bytyqi and Mimoza Bytyqi in 2012, Solaborate aims to reinvent and simplify communication tools and services in a bid to improve people’s lives and our planet by reducing the carbon footprint.
Recently, the all-in-one Video and Audio communication and collaboration device platform has raised $10 million (approx €9 million) in a Series A funding round. Additionally, the company also landed a global go-to-market with EPOS, which is a newly established company under the Demant Group in Denmark.
Labinot Bytyqi, founder and CEO:
This new partnership makes Solaborate’s missions closer to empowering enterprises to communicate and collaborate with no limits.
As per the company claims, this funding will be used to accelerate the development of its new product line of all-in-one HELLO devices and AI cloud communication platform. Solaborate will be using a part of the funding to expand its offerings in telemedicine, consumer, and other industry verticals.
In ties with EPOS, the company is once again planning to reinvent this space one more time by combining compute, microphones, speakers, and leveraging current TVs with patented auto echo-cancellation delay.
The partnership will focus on video collaboration that will enable us to deliver integrated audio/video solutions to the platforms of EPOS’ current strategic partners.
We believe that privacy is a fundamental human right, and that’s why we engineered HELLO devices with video and audio built-in hack-proof privacy controls and end-to-end encryption for everyone’s protection and peace of mind.
For the uninitiated, HELLO devices are designed to be simple for businesses and individuals. It requires only two cables – HDMI and power.
It then turns any TV into a voice-controlled open cross-platform communication and collaboration device supporting the best video conferencing platforms – Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts Meet, Skype, and much more.
