Metronaut – a digital orchestra app
Metronaut is an AI-driven application that creates a real-time professional orchestra smartly synced to the instruments played by users. The magical app catches the users’ music through device microphone and automatically balance the tempo of other virtual instruments.
By means of machine listening, Antescofo incorporated live music performances to play instrumentals. Besides, it lets users practice any instrument and scores accordingly.
Founded in 2016, Antescofo’s innovative technology is the outcome of an immense R&D work involving more than 7 years in IRCAM Paris, the world’s largest laboratory dedicated to music and technology. Metronaut not just facilitates musicians but also singers with professional instrumental harmony.
Users can download Metronaut app for free and play it for 10 minutes per month without spending a single penny. Further, Antescofo is leveraging on the monthly subscription model starting with $10 for unlimited service.
Focus on content
Antescofo will utilise the fresh capital in updating and widening its musical content. The startup is looking forward to craft Metronaut an imperative service for musicians.
Antescofo CEO Laurent Tran Van Lieu elucidated, “The new funds will allow us to strengthen our position as an innovative actor in the music industry, grow internationally, notably into China, and will enable Antescofo to build up Metronaut’s catalogue of accompaniments, so we can satisfy our users.”
