London-based HR tech startup Distributed has just undergone a capital inflow of €1.7 million in seed round from Fuel Ventures. The startup specialises in tech talent resourcing through artificial intelligence. The funding will be utilised in further developing Distributed’s technology and scale operations.

Mark Pearson, founder of Fuel Ventures stated, “The need for software development is accelerating at an unprecedented rate, which we expect to exceed trillions of spending over the coming decade, and Distributed will be positioned front and centre of this growth. We believe the majority of businesses should focus on their own core competencies and use the Distributed platform to create better digital products for their customers.”

Elastic Teams

Distributed’s AI-driven platform integrates a global network of tech experts to constitute elastic teams for delivering the technical outcomes required by its clients. The in-house project managers remain dedicated to accomplish the faster best-in-class outcomes for the companies.

Callum Adamson, CEO of Distributed articulated, “In a world where tech talent is in increasingly short supply, it’s clear that maintaining the pace of delivery required by modern businesses, via hiring direct or outsourcing, is no longer working. We created Distributed to answer this problem. Using our AI-powered global workforce, the best talent is deployed into work that is meaningful to them as individuals, and organisations achieve both their business goals and a better return on their spend.”

Headquartered in London, Distributed was founded in 2017. The startup has seen exceptional growth and presently caters 50+ clients including Mastercard, Sytner Group, Heron AI, REISS and RBS.

Plans 600% expansion of the UK team in 2019

Post the financing drive, Distributed is aiming to expand its UK team by 600% in the year 2019 itself. The startup is approaching towards to become the key player in the UK enabling businesses to achieve gold-standard digital outcomes.

Adamson further expressed, “This next evolution of Distributed will allow us to grow our team, our network of partners and speed the innovation of our platform. We’re aiming to raise the benchmark on the delivery of digital work, and we’re executing against a tremendous opportunity here in the UK. Our ultimate goal is to make great work available to millions of digital specialists worldwide, while simultaneously removing resourcing, HR and talent headaches for businesses large and small.”
