Polish healthtech startup Infermedica offers an AI-driven platform for preliminary diagnosis and triage. It aids patient care and healthcare service delivery. The platform combines the expertise of doctors with its own algorithms to provide symptom triage and the necessary advice to patients. It also works with insurance companies, health systems, and telemedicine companies that intend to provide digitally delivered symptom checks.

In August, Infermedica raised over $10M (nearly €8M) Series A funding led by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and digital health fund Heal Capital, along with existing investors. The company will use the investment for its R&D to further enhance its symptom-checking features and clinical decision support analysis.

XTPL, “Extremely Thin Printed Lines” has developed a manufacturing technology that will be used to print electronics. Its technology produces structures that are tiny and several hundred times thinner than that of a human hair. Currently, XTPL’s printing technology and nanoinks are able to render both conductive and non-conductive structures on the individual micron scale, between 1 and 8 micrometres. These are used for the development of displays and semiconductors and precise repairs.

WrocÅ‚aw-based Datarino is the creator of a platform called Cluify. This platform lets advertisers obtain the list of Advertisement ID (advertisement identifications) of any potential customer group depending on the geographic and behavioural criteria. This lets brands reach new audiences including the clients of competitors’ retail stores, attendees of a sports event, visitors of restaurants, and people who have visited a specific location at a given time. Cluify claims to allow merchants to know their shoppers’ in-store behaviour and reach people who don’t visit it but pass their shop.
