Amsterdam-based Sijthoff Media, a cross-media publisher of news and creative content, announced on Wednesday, July 17th that it is strengthening its leadership team.
Myrthe van der Erve will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) from September 1st to enhance collaboration between the various brands and expedite the integration of activities.

My time at TNW as COO and CEO has taught me the importance of creating strong teams and setting clear goals to achieve a vision. I look forward to combining these experiences with the expertise within Sijthoff Media to achieve further growth.”
The board will continue to be comprised of Willem Sijthoff (CEO) and Pieter Lieverse (CFO).

Additionally, Ralph Wisbrun will join the Advisory Board, working alongside Robert Jongstra (formerly P&G) to steer the company’s strategic direction.
Ralph Wisbrun, says, “During my time as CEO of JWT Amsterdam, I got to know Willem as a decisive entrepreneur and in recent years I have followed Sijthoff Media’s buy & build strategy with interest. I therefore see a lot of potential to further grow the company. My main focus will be on shaping the business and brand strategy.”
With these new appointments, Sijthoff Media is expected to enter the next phase of integration and growth, solidifying its position as a leading player in the B2B media world.
