Dutch-based Basetime raises funding from ROM Utrecht Region, others to expand autonomous ground monitoring

Houten, the Netherlands-based Basetime, a specialist in autonomous precision monitoring of ground movement, announced it has secured undisclosed funding in the latest round.

ROM Utrecht Region, Value Creation Capital, and Ernij Next jointly invested in the round. 

The latest capital will enable the company to make its autonomous measurement solutions globally available to enhance safety and sustainability.

This investment accelerates the company’s expansion into new markets, optimises its platform, and drives continued technological innovation.

Basetime: Develop autonomous measurement solutions

Led by Martijn Arkesteijn, Basetime develops autonomous measurement solutions that provide near-real-time insights into the movements of soil, water levels, and structures.

The Locator One and the Parvamoti platform combine smart sensor technology with powerful data processing.

CEO Martijn Arkesteijn explains, “The foundation of Basetime is solid. The product, software, and platform are ready. Now is the time to scale up, optimise our products and services, and contribute to global challenges: monitoring ageing infrastructure and increasingly frequent landslides to create a safer working and living environment.”
