Ukraine-based TENCORE LLC, a defence technology company, has secured $3.74M (nearly €3.19M) in funding from MITS Capital. The deal was announced at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) in Rome.
The investment was enabled through collaboration with the Diia.City government team and supported throughout by Diia.City United, an association representing Ukrainian product tech companies.
“This agreement creates a clear legal path for international investors to deploy capital directly into Ukrainian entities without workarounds,” says Denys Gurak, CIO & Founding Partner at MITS Capital.
Since 2025, Diia.City has been extended to the DefenseTech sector, and over 300 defence companies have registered under this framework.
Capital utilisation
TENCORE is an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) developer. Its flagship product, TerMIT, which is NATO-standardised, has been used in combat and is deployed on the front lines.
The company has produced over 800 units and plans to increase production to 2,000 units by the end of 2025. The raised funding will support TENCORE to scale both R&D and manufacturing capacities.
MITS Capital CEO and Founding Partner, Perry Boyle, says, “MITS Capital is proud to sign the first Diia.City contract between a US investor and a Ukrainian DefenseTech company.”
He emphasised that the transaction establishes a precedent for future deals and moves Ukraine’s legal regime for technology investments closer to EU standards. Boyle mentions in a statement that “Our goal is to get Russia out of Ukraine and Ukraine into NATO’s defence supply chain.”
TENCORE: Everything you need to know
TENCORE is dedicated to developing solutions and manufacturing robotic platforms that reduce the need for human involvement in high-risk tasks. Its mission is to enhance operational efficiency and protect lives through the deployment of unmanned ground systems.
The company’s product, TerMIT, is a multifunctional ground robotic system developed for a range of military and support operations. With a starting price of $12,000, it is designed to perform tasks such as logistics, evacuation, fire support, and demining.
Weighing 280 kg, the TerMIT can carry up to 300 kg and operate continuously for up to 12 hours. It moves at a speed of 10 km/h, has an operational range of 20 km, and can be remotely controlled from the same distance. Its modular design allows for adaptation to different mission needs.
In logistics roles, the TerMIT has demonstrated the ability to transport significant loads—one unit moved over 30 tons of cargo in a single month. For fire support, it can remotely operate weapons like the Browning machine gun and MK19 grenade launcher, improving both safety and targeting precision. In mining applications, it supports both mining and demining activities and can be equipped with armour and specialised software.
The TerMIT serves as a field-ready solution for a wide range of tactical operations.
