Mannheim-based osapiens, a German software company, is expanding its operations in the United Kingdom. The company plans to invest €35M in the region and create over 150 jobs.
This move signals osapiens’ ongoing commitment to the UK market and aims to support companies dealing with sustainability, transparency, and compliance requirements.
Alberto Zamora, co-founder and CEO of osapiens, adds, “At osapiens, we believe that transparency and efficiency are the foundations of sustainable growth. Our expansion into the UK marks a major step in our mission to help companies meet sustainability and compliance goals through AI-driven innovation. The UK’s leadership in AI and its commitment to responsible tech make it a natural partner for us.”
“We are excited to strengthen our collaboration with industry and government, and to contribute to a shared vision of secure, sustainable, and future-ready supply chains across Europe.”
A platform for sustainable growth
Founded by Alberto Zamora, Matthias Jungblut and Stefan Wawrzinek, osapiens is a software company that develops cloud-based solutions to help companies manage their operations and meet regulatory requirements.
Its core offering, the osapiens HUB, is a platform that brings together more than 25 software solutions. These tools support companies in collecting, processing, and using data across their value chains.
The platform addresses two main areas. Transparency solutions allow companies to map and track their supply chains, helping them meet regulations such as EUDR, CSRD, and CSDDD. Efficiency solutions assist in improving operations by managing maintenance, asset use, and service planning.
Currently, osapiens employs more than 500 people and serves nearly 2,000 companies worldwide. Clients use the platform for activities such as supply chain due diligence, product tracking, audit management, and sustainability reporting.
Expansion in the UK
With a presence in Europe and North America, osapiens is now expanding in the United Kingdom. It already works with UK businesses including BAT, Tesco, and DS Smith.
The expansion includes investment in local teams, infrastructure, and partnerships to meet growing demand for its solutions.
Peter Kyle, UK Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, mentions, “This investment from osapiens is a boon for the UK and our ambition to be a global powerhouse on AI-led innovation and growth. Their expansion will bring more high-wage jobs to the UK and help companies across the country to grow sustainably.”
“This is another signal of the long-standing partnership on science and technology between the UK and Germany, helping to underpin the historic bilateral treaty signed between our two countries today.”
Driving global growth
osapiens’ expansion into the UK comes amid a period of strong business growth. In the second quarter of 2025, the company doubled its Annual Recurring Revenue compared to the same period last year, continuing a 42-month streak of over 100 per cent year-over-year growth.
In the first six months of 2025, it added more than 400 enterprise customers and now employs over 500 people, with ongoing hiring across key areas such as product development, engineering, and customer support.
Supported by investors including Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Armira Growth, osapiens is scaling its operations across Europe and North America. Alongside its headquarters in Mannheim, Germany, it has opened offices in cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, and London.
The company is also engaging the wider business community through initiatives like the Sustainability osapiens Summit, a B2B event focused on sustainable growth, and the osapeers platform, which facilitates knowledge sharing among sustainability professionals.
Through these efforts, osapiens is advancing its vision of aligning regulatory compliance with long-term business outcomes.
