Netherlands-based Great Place To Work is a research and consultancy agency that helps organisations develop workplace cultures built on trust. For more than 30 years, it has worked with businesses to create environments that support revenue growth, talent attraction, and employee retention.
On June 13, the agency’s 23rd edition of the Best Workplaces Awards was held at DeFabrique in Utrecht. During the event, 50 organisations in the Netherlands were recognised for their employees’ view that they operate in a culture of trust, pride, and enjoyment.
The awards reflect Great Place To Work’s ongoing effort to highlight and support organisations that prioritise trust as a foundation for long-term success.

According to the agency, in the 2024–2025 research year, 431 organisations participated in the Trust Index employee survey. Of these, 326 achieved a score of 70 per cent or higher and received the title Great Place To Work-Certified. From this group, 236 qualified for the 2025 Best Workplaces list, with 50 securing a final position.
These organisations invest in their employees during a period marked by uncertainty, volatility, and technological change, including the growth of AI, geopolitical tensions, and economic pressures.
Research shows that the 50 Best Workplaces in the Netherlands report higher levels of agility (90 per cent versus the national average of 61 per cent) and innovation (90 per cent versus 62 per cent). These figures indicate their capacity to adapt to changes while maintaining a people-focused culture.
