Haarlem-based Reavant, a Dutch developer of AI agents for real estate management, has received a €350,000 convertible loan from Amsterdam’s Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland to continue developing its platform.

The Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland is a joint initiative of the Province of Noord-Holland, the University of Amsterdam, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Amsterdam UMC, and Sanquin.

The fund provides convertible loans to entrepreneurs in Noord-Holland to support innovation in the Proof-of-Concept phase.

Currently, Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland manages two programs: one for startups, supported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), and one for academic startups, supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Developing AI agents for real estate

Founded in 2024 by Bahadir Karaagac, Priscilla van Ooijen, and Frederik Durant, Reavant develops AI agents tailored to real estate management. The agents automate workflows, reduce manual tasks, and support portfolio oversight.

Reavant’s AI agents can analyze lease documents, monitor contractual obligations, perform data quality audits, and generate insights to support operational decisions. Features include automated lease abstraction, portfolio insights, supplier contract analysis, and tracking of renewal deadlines and service charge verification.

In a statement translated from Dutch, Bahadir Karaagac, co-founder and CEO at Reavant, says, “We develop AI specifically for the real estate sector. Our AI agents can identify overlooked opportunities, such as missed rent indexations and incorrect cost allocations, and take over routine tasks like contract analysis and report generation that normally take weeks.”

The platform addresses inefficiencies in real estate, where many processes still rely on manual work and fragmented data, allowing teams to focus on strategy, deals, and portfolio management while improving data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Priscilla van Ooijen, co-founder and CBDO at Reavant, mentions, “AI agents are the future of real estate management. When professionals spend less time on the repetitive complexity of document analysis and gain easier access to the opportunities in their real estate portfolios, there is more room for strategic decision-making and networking.”

Currently, Reavant operates in Germany and the Netherlands, with plans to expand further in Europe.

Capital utilisation

Reavant will use the funds to enhance its multi-agent platform, helping professionals improve portfolio returns, streamline administrative tasks, and ensure compliance across real estate portfolios.

Ludolf Stavenga, fund manager at Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, says, “Specialised multi-agent platforms with a strong domain focus—built for complex, long-running tasks—prove real value for clients and thus build strong defensibility.”
