Deventer-based OpusFlow, a Dutch platform for renewable energy installers, has raised €3.8M in growth capital led by Move Energy, Rise PropTech, and existing investor Peak.
The funds will support OpusFlow’s operations in existing markets, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, and the UK, and enable expansion into additional international markets.
This funding round follows OpusFlow’s €1.7M investment led by Peak in July 2024. The company’s total raised capital now reaches €5.5M.
Gaëtan Baudelet, Partner at Rise PropTech, says, “The energy transition requires not just new technology, but scalable software that makes installers’ operations drastically more efficient. OpusFlow is uniquely positioned to become the European platform of choice for mid-market renewable energy installers. We’re proud to support the team in their international expansion and AI-driven roadmap.”
Thijs Dijkman, Partner at Peak, adds, “OpusFlow has quickly proven to be the operational software backbone for renewable energy installers. By integrating AI, they are raising the industry standard, making them the ideal partner for installers looking to work faster, more efficiently, and with higher customer satisfaction.”
An all-in-one ERP software
Founded in 2022 by Diego Smits and Joey Teunissen, OpusFlow is a platform for renewable energy installers that has operations across Europe.
The company’s platform integrates core processes for installers of solar panels, heat pumps, EV chargers, solar water heaters, and related systems. These processes include quotations, team scheduling, inventory management, sales operations, and invoicing.
Using automation, OpusFlow reduces administrative project time from an average of 7.5 hours to 1.5 hours.
OpusFlow is modular, allowing each business process—such as quoting, cost calculation, customer portals, scheduling, inventory management, and procurement—to connect through plugins or modules. The cloud-based platform charges a single flat fee per user for full access to all modules.
Currently, the company serves over 100 sustainable installers across Europe and has a team of nearly 40 employees.
Capital utilisation
OpusFlow will use the funds to further develop its platform by integrating AI and adding new modules for renewable energy solutions, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), wind energy, and EV charging infrastructure.
The updates allow installers to offer a wider range of renewable energy installations in the markets where OpusFlow operates.
The company plans to expand its presence in several European countries, including the UK and France, and to grow its team with specialists in product development, sales, and customer support.
Co-founder and CEO Diego Smits noted that installers often face challenges due to a fragmented IT ecosystem, working with separate tools for scheduling, CRM, inventory, and quotations without proper integrations. “With OpusFlow, we are building the platform that enables installers to fully automate their operations.”
Smits adds, “The new funding will help us support installers across Europe in expanding their services and accelerating the energy transition together.”
