Dutch aviation data analytics startup Casper gets acquired on its 15th anniversary

UK-based Ideagen has acquired Casper, a Dutch provider of data analytics and environmental monitoring solutions for the aviation sector.

Nottingham’s Ideagen, a provider of software for regulated and high-compliance industries, has acquired Casper, a Netherlands-based provider of data analytics tools for the aviation sector. The acquisition coincides with Casper’s 15th anniversary.

Founded in 2010, Casper is a provider of environmental monitoring and data analytics solutions for the aviation sector. Since its inception, the company has provided services to 60 airports in 15 countries across four continents.

The company delivers noise operations monitoring solutions and tools that convert air traffic movement data into cloud-based analytics. Casper’s solutions support aviation clients in monitoring flight tracks, noise, operations, situational awareness, and community engagement.

Casper also provides tools to improve operational insight and communication processes. Its solutions produce visualisations that can be adapted to client requirements.

The company collaborates with aviation clients worldwide to maintain long-term relationships. Its team has over a decade of industry experience.

Aim of the acquisition

The acquisition expands Ideagen’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) portfolio for aviation clients, supporting the company’s strategy to enhance its capabilities in aviation data analytics and EHS management.
