Dutch startup Konekti has raised seed round funding to accelerate its mission to make process intelligence scalable and reliable.

Eindhoven-based Konekti, a data preparation platform for process intelligence, has raised €1.2M in a seed funding round led by Arches Capital, with participation from the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM).
Arches Capital is a VC that focuses on generation-proof B2B software companies and currently supports 23 startups.
With over 100 active angel investors, Arches combines the engagement of seasoned entrepreneurs with the structure of a venture capital fund.
“Konekti addresses a crucial bottleneck in a rapidly growing market,” says Lotte Smit van Ditshuizen, partner at Arches Capital. “Their technology finally makes it possible to implement process intelligence at scale, which has a direct impact on cost savings and operational performance for enterprise clients worldwide.”
Fund utilisation
The Dutch company will use the funds to further develop its process intelligence technology and scale it internationally.
In addition to this, the company is planning to expand its operations within the Benelux and DACH regions with the capital.
“Our next step is to scale within the Benelux and DACH regions, helping process intelligence teams make their work faster, more accessible, and more actionable. Of course, our technology is globally relevant, so that’s just the beginning,” says Lotte Vugs, CEO and co-founder of Konekti, to Silicon Canals.
Konekti will utilise the capital to expand its team from eight to ten before the end of 2025.
“Right now, we’re expanding on the commercial side, looking for new team members in sales and customer success to help us serve our growing customer base and support our international expansion,” reveals Vugs.
Born out of frustration
“Konekti was really born out of frustration,” says Vugs. “My cofounders (Maarten van Asseldonk, Niek van Son) and I met in university, where we first discovered process intelligence and became fascinated by its potential to optimise business processes data-driven.”
Typically, order processing, logistics, and customer service are essential components of every company.
“Process intelligence” enables organisations to understand how these processes function and helps identify areas for improvement in efficiency, consistency, and customer focus.
However, the greatest challenge is data transformation, which involves converting fragmented data from various IT systems into reliable process data models, known as digital twins.
“When we later started a consultancy firm, the field was still very immature. While analytics capabilities were evolving rapidly, the data transformation part lagged far behind,” she continues.
In fact, data transformation can consume up to 80 per cent of the effort and demands extensive expertise, claims the company.
“At some point, we realised: only when we accelerate this step can data-driven process optimisation truly scale. So, in 2022, we decided to stop consulting and build the software we wished we’d had: automation that makes process intelligence fast, scalable, and accessible for every enterprise,” she says.
What does Konekti do?
Founded by Maarten van Asseldonk, Niek van Son and Lotte Vugs, Konekti tackles the biggest bottleneck in process mining and data-driven improvement — building the data models (digital twins) that show how processes really work.
Their platform simplifies this process by quickly turning scattered enterprise data into reliable process models in just days instead of months.
Dealing with mess, inconsistency and the ability to convince
Companies dealing with complex datasets face a significant challenge: they need a product that can manage intricate data systems while remaining easy to use.
That’s exactly what the team at Konekti experienced.
“Process intelligence may sound straightforward, but the underlying data is messy, fragmented, and inconsistent. That’s exactly why no one had truly solved this problem before us. We also had to earn trust in a naturally risk-averse space. Convincing large organisations that our software could outperform their traditional, manual methods took time and persistence,” explains Vugs.
“And like any early-stage startup, we were bootstrapped in the beginning. That meant constantly balancing between building the product we envisioned and bringing in those first customers who believed in it,” she notes.
“Response has been fantastic”
At present, the Dutch company’s platform is used by process intelligence teams of multinationals and consultancy firms in the Netherlands and beyond.
“The response has been fantastic, especially since we launched our enterprise edition. We were already working with several consulting firms in the Netherlands, but once we introduced features that allow rapid deployment within complex enterprise data stacks, things really took off,” replies Vugs about the feedback from clients.
“We’ve now rolled out Konekti at two major corporates in the manufacturing industry, and we’re able to demonstrate value within days instead of months, which has been a real differentiator,” she adds.
According to the company, the solution can be integrated with existing analytics platforms such as Celonis, SAP Signavio, and Microsoft Power Automate.
“As the process intelligence market continues to expand, driven by the need for accurate, contextual data to power AI responsibly, we’re seeing demand for Konekti grow rapidly,” she adds.
Additionally, the platform is designed for teams looking to accelerate and scale their process intelligence initiatives.
SaaS model, tripling recurring revenue and more
Konekti operates under a B2B SaaS model. This means customers pay a fixed fee for the initial integration, along with a license fee per user.
“Our pricing is designed to keep costs predictable and directly tied to the value customers see. In many cases, each data engineer’s delivery capacity triples once Konekti is in place. It’s a simple model that aligns our success with theirs,” she explains.
In terms of revenue, the company has not publicly shared exact numbers, but says it is in a strong position following its recent funding round.
This year, the company expects to at least triple its recurring revenue as it expands into the Benelux and DACH regions.
“Konekti tackles one of the most underestimated but essential challenges in data preparation for process intelligence: reusability and speed,” says Robin Hendrickx, senior investment manager at BOM. “The platform turns data into concrete value for companies faster than ever. By realising scalable data models in just days, the team shows technical craftsmanship and sharp insight into the bottlenecks within organisations. This is the kind of innovation that drives business forward.”
