Brussels-based venture capital firm Endgame Capital has announced the first close of its Fund I at €8M, completed within a few months of fundraising.

The firm invests in technologies that compete on cost, speed, and performance, without relying on subsidies or changes in consumer demand.

Its focus is on climate technologies that can be deployed within two years and have the potential to cut more than 50 million tons of CO2e each year.

Endgame Capital has already backed three companies under this strategy. These include Ensol, a Paris-based company that develops virtual power plants to support the integration of renewable grids, and New York-based EVERBLOOM, which converts protein waste into textile fibres. A third investment will be announced soon.

With this fund, Endgame Capital aims to build a platform connecting science, industry, and capital across Europe and North America.

Investing in scalable climate technologies

Endgame Capital is a venture capital firm that invests in founders developing technologies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The firm focuses on companies with solutions that are close to market and capable of achieving large-scale impact through cost, speed, and performance. Its investments target ventures that can reach commercialisation within two years and deliver measurable reductions in CO2 emissions.

Endgame Capital operates across all industries and invests in companies based in Europe and North America at the pre-seed and seed stages, with ticket sizes between €250,000 and €750,000. The firm backs solutions with proven economics and low capital requirements that enable rapid deployment in established sectors.

Besides funding, Endgame Capital supports its portfolio through hands-on engagement. Its team works with founders to strengthen operations, secure early customers, and build effective go-to-market strategies.

Drawing on experience in building and scaling startups, the firm helps bridge the gap between research and commercial success, accelerating technologies that can play a significant role in global decarbonisation.
