Reekom, a French industrial startup specialised in product revaluation, has acquired Tilli, a Paris-based textile care & repair company.
The deal follows Reekom’s €4.5M fundraising round earlier in 2025. The acquisition strengthens Reekom’s plan to link its industrial operations with local service networks under a unified revaluation model.
Through this transaction, both companies aim to advance a sustainable and regional approach within the textile industry, offering an alternative to fast fashion practices.
Expanding textile repair operations
Founded in 2017 by Antoinette Fine and Benjamin Michel, Tilli operates a platform for the care and repair of textiles, leather goods, and footwear. Its goal is to extend the lifespan of clothing and accessories by connecting skilled craftspeople with consumers and brands.
Tilli manages its activities through a SaaS platform that coordinates the entire care and repair process. Its network includes more than 1,200 craftsmen across Europe, including about 800 based in France.
The company works with more than 50 fashion and service brands, including Zara, Zadig & Voltaire, Soeur, Ba&sh, 5àsec, and American Vintage. These collaborations integrate repair and maintenance options into retail and online customer channels.
In a statement translated from French, Guillaume Perret du Cray, CEO of Reekom, says, “This acquisition marks a major strategic step for Reekom. Tilli has successfully created a strong momentum around care & repair, complementing our industrial and large-scale expertise. Together, we are scaling up a comprehensive recycling model that combines innovation, local employment, and a positive environmental impact.”
With this acquisition deal, Tilli’s operations will be linked with Reekom’s 3,500 m² industrial site in La Courneuve (93) to connect large-scale textile processing with local repair expertise.
Operational impact
Reekom, which already manages a full textile upcycling chain including repair, disinfection, stain removal, and reconditioning, has integrated Tilli to expand its operations from local repairs to large-scale industrial processing.
Tilli’s Paris workshops will be gradually incorporated into Reekom’s production site in La Courneuve, while the network of independent artisans will continue to operate and receive support for continuity and skills development. For partner brands, the merger creates a single service for upcycling textile stocks at all scales.
Reekom plans to carry out the integration of Tilli’s teams with respect for existing jobs and individualised support. This project also aims to preserve local expertise, support short supply chains, and promote professional reintegration within the textile sector.
Beryl de Labouchère, founder of Tilli, says, “With Reekom, we share a common vision and ambition: to make textile recycling a sustainable and profitable economic model, serving local employment and the ecological transition.”
Reekom acquires Tilli to support international expansion
Reekom has completed the acquisition of Tilli as part of its 2026–2027 roadmap. The move allows Reekom to expand its product upcycling operations beyond France, starting with Spain, Italy, Germany, and Eastern Europe, and planning future operations in the US and Asia based on client demand.
By integrating Tilli, Reekom combines its industrial capacity with Tilli’s network of artisans outside France. The acquisition strengthens Reekom’s position within a circular textile ecosystem.
The company’s approach relies on combining the expertise of specialised partners with its own capacity to process textiles at scale. Each participant in the network contributes to shared value in the recycling process, forming the foundation of Reekom’s operational structure.
Brief about Reekom
Reekom was founded in 2022 by Guillaume Perret du Cray, an engineer focused on logistical and environmental challenges. In 2023, Hélène Feugier, a specialist in the circular industry, joined the company. Together, they established a textile recycling model that integrates economic performance, environmental practices, and social programs.
Based in La Courneuve, Reekom processes up to 30,000 parts per month for major brands. The company recruits employees who are often distant from the labour market and operates directly within its industrial center.
Reekom’s operations aim to extend the use of materials while providing employment opportunities. The company aims to give products a second life and create opportunities for people, integrating industrial recycling with local social programs and circular economy practices.
