The vibrant tech ecosystem in Amsterdam, the Netherlands’ capital city, has attracted an increasing number of innovators and investors in recent years.

The business environment in Amsterdam has seen a lot of investment over the years. This tendency seems to be continuing, which is consistent with the Dutch government’s objectives to support businesses.

Hence today, we bring you a list of eight startups that have raised funding in March 2023 and are hiring right now.

Tex.tracer

Tex.tracer has built a SaaS transparency platform to create a transparent fashion ecosystem. It also helps companies become compliant with new rules and legislations such as the EPR, CSRD, and Digital Product Passport.

As supply chain transparency becomes a requirement in Europe, the startup is helping retailers, fashion, and textile brands become compliant through action based on the true data to meet the EU Net Zero goals by 2050.

Twindo

Twindo is a platform that offers a range of benefits to all stakeholders involved in wind energy projects. Firstly, it enables companies to complete these projects more quickly, reducing planning and management administration by up to 90 per cent.

Additionally, the system can predict project success more accurately and effectively through machine learning, which captures and uses data.

Twindo aims to be the tool that accelerates the sustainable energy transition and enables every sustainable energy worker to achieve more without having to do more.

Chargetrip

Founder(s): Andreas Sansano, Gideon van Dijk, Mark Hulsbergen, Pieter Waller

Founded in: 2017

Chargetrip is a smart EV Routing API-based SaaS platform that makes it easy to drive and charge any electric vehicle for individuals and fleets. Their routing engine uses over 15 different variables to calculate the real-time range of any electric vehicle. 

Temperature, weather, charge speed, elevation, rolling resistance, real-time vehicle data, and availability of charge stations are all taken into account. Its routing algorithms calculate the best route to a driver’s destination, with the optimal charge stations in between.

Coolset (Formerly Greencast)

EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive says more than 50,000 companies in Europe will have to report on their sustainability by 2024. However, most current options are too complicated and geared toward big companies.

Coolset closes this gap by giving startups and SMEs a simple and effective solution that helps automate decarbonisation efforts.

Its tool helps organisations measure, analyse, reduce, and offset their greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3. It also allows users to track their carbon footprint, set reduction targets, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Through the app, people can monitor their referrals, exchange tasks, and receive rewards using their programme. Due to the high mobile-only interaction, Cruit centralises, optimises, and extends referral programmes, which significantly lowers the cost-per-hire.

By rewarding employees and community members who recommend eligible applicants, Cruit enables companies to access a sizable pool of job seekers and considerably enhances their hiring procedure.

Agurotech aims to help farmers with information and ideas to aid in the more effective use of resources like water. It creates, manufactures, and distributes custom hardware and software products like sensing technology, weather systems, and software.

The software provides farmers with real-time insights into soil conditions, local weather, and AI-powered predictions. Through its products, the company assists farms in streamlining the initial process by using resources more effectively and sustainably.

Respyre

Delft University of Technology spin-off Respyre aims to make eco-friendly construction easier through the use of smart products. The company’s first product that is currently being worked on is moss concrete. 

Respyre believes that any surface coated in moss, no matter how big or small, transforms into the city’s own self-contained natural ventilation system.

The moss concrete makes it possible for communities to affordably and readily welcome biodiversity. This also makes it possible to address issues like CO2 production and atmospheric pollution.
