Bazoeki: A platform for buying a puppy

In 2017, Suzanne van der Vliet and Joris Kuijper came up with the idea of creating Bazoeki, the first secure platform for offering and searching for dogs.

Their frustration with the lack of transparency and control in online dog searches led to the development of Bazoeki aimed at transforming the pet industry.

Launched in 2019 in the Netherlands, Bazoeki checks every breeder and provides approved breeders with personal software to ensure transparency in their practices, including details about their experience, breeding program, and the health tests conducted on the parent animals.

Furthermore, Bazoeki is dedicated to guiding and informing new owners to help them make well-informed choices.

The Dutch company aims to expand its operation and become the largest all-in-one pet platform in Europe, to cultivate transparency and trust within the pet industry globally.

“We are happy to enter our next phase of growth and look forward to further developing Bazoeki into the puppy platform of Europe,” adds Joris Kuijper. “Our focus remains on providing the best experience for puppy seekers and breeders alike, and this funding will allow us to achieve our goals faster.
