Amsterdam-based Bencis Capital Partners, an independent investment company, announced the first and final close of Bencis VII at its hard cap of €625M, completing the fundraising within just six months.
The close of Bencis VII marks 25 years since the launch of Bencis’s first fund in 2000.
The fund received backing from existing investors and many founders and managers of Bencis portfolio companies, alongside several new limited partners joining to support the firm’s continued expansion.
The Bencis VII fund will enable the investment firm to continue its strategy of investing alongside entrepreneurs and management teams in the Benelux and DACH regions.
Over the past 18 months, Bencis has completed eight successful exits across Bencis IV Continuation Fund, Bencis V, and Bencis VI, achieving an average MOIC of 7.0x. T
Additional exits across active funds are anticipated in 2026.
