The capital will help the Dutch company to further scale its product offering, accelerate international growth, and enter new markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Additionally, the funds will help the company offer integrated solutions for modular data centre concepts, allowing customers to use sustainable computing wherever necessary.

“This investment round marks an important milestone for Asperitas. We’re proud to welcome new strategic partners and to continue building on the trust of our existing shareholders. With this support, we can accelerate our mission to help data centres maximise the effective use of energy for compute, reduce their environmental impact, and grow sustainably in a market that’s evolving faster than ever,” says Rutger de Haij, CEO, Asperitas.

Asperitas: Providing thermal management solutions

Global demand for computing power is increasing rapidly, primarily due to the rise of AI and cloud technology.

Data centres play a central role in this, but they consume significant amounts of energy and water. A significant portion of this energy consumption is used for cooling.

Here’s where Asperitas comes into play!

Asperitas is a provider of thermal management solutions focused on making efficient use of energy for computation.

The Dutch company provides immersion-cooling systems and modular integrations for both core and edge data centres, improving Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE), and Environmental Resource Factor (ERF), allowing for more available power for IT.

The company aims to help customers sustainably grow their digital infrastructure with effective thermal management solutions, including immersion cooling.

“Our ambition is to build the intelligent thermal layer of the next-generation compute stack —serving both core and edge data centres with scalable products, systems, and modular integrations,” says the company.

TEOS Advisory Limited acted as the financial advisor to Asperitas on the transaction.
