Amsterdam-based Booker25, a booking application that helps organisations simplify complex planning and booking issues in Salesforce, announced that it will continue under the new name GoMeddo from February 1 to accurately portray the platform’s potential globally.
The development follows the company’s €2.5M funding raised in 2022 to accelerate global expansion. Currently, the application is used by well-known companies, including Jaguar Land Rover, ClubMed, Basic Fit, and Brunswick Corporation.
What is GoMeddo?
GoMeddo is a scheduling and booking platform for companies of any size operating in any given sector. Its goal is to assist businesses in maximising user experience, efficiency, and revenue.
The Salesforce platform is used by GoMeddo developers to manage everything – from reserving vehicles to scheduling gym classes, educational courses, and salon appointments. It also helps optimise the effect of the available resources, assets, locations, people, and clients.
The platform provides support for the whole business cycle, including planning, reservations, bookings, and payments. Additionally, one can simply (re)engage with consumers, thanks to the data stored in Salesforce.
The business that runs GoMeddo is called Group25. Additionally, Group25 is the company that is responsible for Gen25, a Salesforce consulting partner that provides implementations in the Netherlands and the UK.
The on-demand economy
According to GoMeddo, the subscription economy is still expanding, with customers using goods and services on an on-demand or subscription basis where user experience and scheduling are both crucial.
Forbes reports that the market has expanded globally from $73B in 2021 to an anticipated $120B in 2022.
Gijs Martens, CEO of GoMeddo, says, “We see the demand for smart digital solutions and integration options to build a digital platform only increasing.”
The Dutch company mentions in a statement that Salesforce is currently the worldwide industry leader for CRM platforms with a market share of over 20 per cent. According to research, 87 per cent of businesses that use Salesforce additionally set up an authorised app to improve the system even more.
“We are responding to this with the further expansion of GoMeddo because the economy is not only becoming more digital, but also more flexible. Servitisation, on-demand economy and other usage-based business models are rapidly expanding. Just think of meal boxes, bicycle subscriptions, private lease options and flexible offices. Organisations with plannable care such as private clinics and cosmetic surgeons also use the application.”
“In either case, you need an application that combines the power of Salesforce with the ability to make complex planning issues simple for customers and employees. Thanks to GoMeddo, the entire value chain of a business model can be supported on the Salesforce platform,” says Martens.
GoMeddo’s recent development
GoMeddo’s last funding round has helped the company to grow its team significantly.
Tim Schuitemaker will assume the position of managing director at GoMeddo and oversee the day-to-day operation of the business unit in addition to CEO Gijs Martens. Schuitemaker was previously employed by Group25 as CIO.
The sales team has been expanded with several colleagues in the UK, France and Germany, and GoMeddo also works with a sales partner in the US.
