Utrecht-based Conclusion, a multidisciplinary service provider in the field of business transformation and IT services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised €410M to expand internationally and strengthen its services in the Netherlands.

A consortium of banks and funds committed the financing.

Emiel van Boxtel, CFO at Conclusion, says, “As part of securing the refinancing, we consciously choose to link part of the interest on the financing to the achievement of sustainability targets. The exact KPIs will be determined in the coming months, in consultation with the providers.”

Conclusion: Everything you need to know

Founded in 1997, Conclusion is a supplier of IT services that acts as a link between company, strategy, and technology. It is an ecosystem of independently operating companies of more than 25 Dutch specialist firms in business change and IT services.

Each of these businesses claims to be a leader in their respective industry. Combining the expertise of the various companies enables Conclusion to offer distinguishing composite propositions. Together, they lead medium-sized to big businesses as well as governments on their digital future path.

At the core of Dutch society, Conclusion assumes responsibility for mission- and socially-critical business procedures and networks.

In 2021, Conclusion added a number of relevant competences to its portfolio, including in digital experience and engineering (with 4NG), enterprise applications (with Conclusion Microsoft Business Solutions) and IT consultancy domains focused on specific sectors such as Healthcare (D&A) and financial services (Davinci Consulting).

Conclusion has also entered the German and Belgium markets following its acquisition of Mediaan at the end of 2021.

Capital utilisation

According to CEO Engbert Verkoren, the first step that Conclusion is taking is scaling up capacity.

Verkoren says, “Given the ongoing challenge of increased demand versus scarcity on the Dutch labour market, the first priority is to structurally scale up our near and offshore capacity. This will be done through the expansion of the existing operation in South Africa and investments in Portugal.”

“We then want to introduce our proven successful Dutch ecosystem model in other countries as well. We are starting with this in the German and Portuguese markets.”

In a statement, Verkoren also mentions that the funds will help with the stability and flexibility needed to achieve Conclusion’s long-term development goals.
