Madrid-based Dedge Security, the first ASPM (Application Security Posture Management) platform designed specifically for Web3, has secured €4M in a Seed funding round led by venture firm Tritemius.
Tritemius is a Spanish firm focused on investing in and creating new businesses within the Web3 ecosystem.
The team is composed of specialists with over a decade of experience in Web3, spanning business, finance, technology, marketing, and regulation —the latter being especially relevant in this industry.
Luis Pastor, CEO and co-founder of Tritemius, adds, “Cybersecurity is critical to the development and mass adoption of Web3, a sector still defining its maturity standards. At Tritemius, we invested in Dedge because their team, deeply experienced and proven in cybersecurity, is perfectly positioned to tackle these challenges and become a market leader.”
The company plans to use the funds to strengthen its position as the leading security platform for developers and companies building on Web3.
Dedge Security: Application Security Posture Management platform
Founded by Rubén Jiménez and Paco Moral, Dedge Security offers an end-to-end solution to protect smart contracts, decentralised applications, and blockchain infrastructure throughout their entire lifecycle.
“We are building breakthrough technology and a top-tier team to solve one of the most complex challenges in the Web3 ecosystem. This investment gives us the boost we need to accelerate that journey,” says Rubén Jiménez, co-founder and CEO of Dedge Security.
The company’s platform unifies AppSec and DevOps, providing continuous security, automated intelligence, and real-time visibility from code to chain.
The ASPM platform protects decentralised environments by securing code and nodes. It integrates security into CI/CD pipelines and provides real-time insights into risks throughout the dApp lifecycle.
The Spanish company provides continuous code security integrated into CI/CD pipelines, reducing the need for manual audits.
Its Web3-native intelligence protects decentralised applications (dApps), smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure, offering real-time risk insights.
With automated prioritisation and remediation, Dedge ensures accuracy and efficiency. Its unique “code-to-node” approach secures both existing deployments and the entire development process of Web3 applications.
“The adoption of Web3 by companies and institutions directly depends on confidence in its security. At Dedge, we work to make that trust tangible. This round reinforces our commitment and our ability to grow globally,” says the founding team.
