Rotterdam-based Ciphix, a hyperautomation specialist, has acquired Limburg startup Bizzomate, an expert in low-code software solutions. This acquisition marks a key step towards Ciphix’s goal of becoming Europe’s leading player in hyperautomation.
Koen Mallee, CEO of Ciphix, says, “With Bizzomate, we welcome a company with a strong focus on low-code expertise and social impact. We look forward to leveraging our combined strengths to provide enhanced value to our customers.”
“This acquisition positions us as a leader in the Dutch low-code app development market and significantly advances our goal of becoming Europe’s premier hyperautomation specialist.”
A European hyperautomation specialist
Founded in 2018, Ciphix is an IT company specialising in hyperautomation. It helps organisations unleash human potential by automating business processes smartly.
The company combines various technologies to automate processes from start to finish across all operations fully.
In May 2023, Ciphix launched a buy-and-build growth strategy with Mentha Capital, acquiring Webflight, a low-code app specialist, in September 2023, and now Bizzomate.
This expansion brings the company to over 170 employees, operating from offices in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Valkenburg.
Aim of the acquisition
Bizzomate offers extensive low-code expertise to Ciphix. The former company has over 75 certified professionals with a track record in implementing low-code applications across sectors such as healthcare and manufacturing.
Bizzomate’s clients include Maastricht University, Mental Care Group, and MediReva, among others.
Ciphix mentions in a statement that amid global labour shortages, hyperautomation is becoming crucial for reducing high workloads in precise administrative tasks. Integrating hyperautomation, AI, and low-code tech enhances efficiency, fosters innovation, and enhances companies’ competitive edge.
This acquisition of Bizzomate fits into Ciphix’s strategic goals, building on the success of integrating Webflight to show how low-code applications enhance Ciphix’s hyperautomation offerings.
Customers from both companies will benefit from a complete suite of digitisation services, including low-code applications, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Process Mining, and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions.
Marc Gelissen, founder of Bizzomate, says, “The acquisition by Ciphix is a testament to our efforts over the past 12 years. With the growing demand for hyperautomation solutions, merging our low-code expertise with Ciphix’s offerings allows us to provide comprehensive solutions to our customers.”
“This acquisition is a significant advancement for our clients and team, aligning perfectly with our mission to grow together.”
