Restaurants can donate service fee to Covid-19 relief funds
Y the Wait (YTW) is also enabling an option where restaurants can donate a small percentage of the service fee to organizations providing for Covid-19 affected people.”The development of Y the Wait revolves around the idea to overcome inconveniences people have to go through while ordering food in restaurants,” said Grewal. “Users can use Y the Wait as a digital waiter for dine-in, takeaway & delivery orders across the globe – at any local dine-in restaurant or even at fast-food chains like McDonald’s, KFC, Subway, etc. if they join this cause,” he adds.
Turn your smartphone into a digital waiter
With YTW app installed on your smartphones, one can turn their restaurant into a smart restaurant. This requires no investments and does away with requiring paper menus, kiosks, card swipe machines and cash exchange, all of which need to be avoided in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Customers can use the app to directly place an order and Restaurant owners can commence contactless (pre)orders, takeaway, and home delivery services free of cost by employing their delivery staff by using YTW Staff App.
Restaurant owners who sign up for the service can start taking orders right away after spending a few minutes for the sign-up process. YTW recently secured C$5M seed funding from Canadian investors and as per the company, over a thousand restaurant owners worldwide have signed up for the service.
