Rotterdam-based Flowboost, an online marketing company, announced that it has acquired a 50 per cent stake in Dutch startup Backlink.nl through participation, strengthening its foothold in the link-building sector.

Floris de Schrijver, owner of Flowboost, says, “Despite much advice to focus further on Google Ads after achieving Google Premier Partner status, we chose a different approach: investing in SEO.”

“We will continue to provide our services in the familiar way. This addition strengthens our services and will have no impact on our existing customers. On the contrary, we aim to focus even more on achieving profitable growth.”

Why Backlink.nl is necessary?

Founded in 2021, Backlink.nl claims to be the largest Dutch link building platform exclusively for organic traffic websites.

According to the company, the danger of bad backlinks lies in the rapid deterioration of website quality. A site originally focused on a specific theme may deviate, linking to unrelated topics like health or gambling.

Tracking all backlinks is impractical, and it could take years for a site’s quality to decline.

Good backlinks thrive on relevance in context, existing links, and visitor alignment. Otherwise, they risk devaluation or even penalties from search engines like Google, says the company.

Martijn van der Pas, owner of Backlink.nl, says, “We are delighted to have Flowboost on board as our partner. This partnership not only brings value but also adds significant Google expertise to our team.”

He further adds, “At Backlink.nl, we offer exclusive premium backlinks of top quality, always at the most competitive price. Our aim is to provide transparency and real value in every link delivered.”
