In a recent development, Frontify announced that it has raised an additional $50M (approx €42.78M) in its Series C round of funding.
This comes after Frontify’s $22.3M (approx €19M) funding in January 2020.
Investors
The current Series C round was led by Paris and Berlin-based Revaia, Europe’s largest female-founded VC fund, formerly Gaia Capital Partners. The firm invests in European growth-stage companies with global ambitions and sustainable leadership.
Additionally, the round also saw participation from High Sage Ventures and existing investors EQT Ventures, Blossom Capital, and Tenderloin Ventures.
All three existing investors had also participated in the Series B round in 2020 along with Datartis Ventures, Thomas Dübendorfer and Myke Näf.
Capital utilisation
Frontify aims to accelerate product research and development and hiring talents in the US and Switzerland with the raised funds. The company wants to grow its current team of 200+ employees. It believes that investing in highly engaged and skilled people will strengthen its position as thought-leaders on the future of brands.
The funds will also help boost Frontify’s technology to support the growing global community of brand builders.
Speaking on the development, Frontify Founder & CEO, Roger Dudler says, “We’ve laid the foundation and are revolutionising how people contribute to and work with their brands across a huge range of industries, brand sizes, locations, and needs. There’s still so much to achieve, but we can’t get there alone. Expanding our teams with the best and brightest around the globe, seeking partners who align with our beliefs and outlook, and taking our software to even greater heights – these are just some of the key focus points for us now.”
