Île-de-France-based FuturMaster, a company specialised in SaaS Supply Chain Planning and Revenue Growth Management, announces the acquisition of PlaniSense, a specialist in scheduling and production planning.
Based out of Paris, PlaniSense is a software solution provider for supply chain planning. The company offers four complementary modules for end-to-end planning: Demand Planning, Distribution Planning, Supply Chain Planning, and Scheduling.
Nazim Nachi, CEO of PlaniSense, states, “The alliance with FuturMaster represents a strategic and natural alignment between our complementary products and teams. We are confident that this collaboration will offer our clients an expanded range of solutions, allowing them to address their Supply Chain management needs even more effectively. Together, we aim to transform the industry by redefining performance and innovation standards.”
The announcement comes three months after FuturMaster was acquired by Sagard NewGen, a Paris-based private equity firm, from its founder and Cathay Capital.
As a part of the acquisition, PlaniSense, with around 40 employees and strong tech expertise, is joining FuturMaster.
This acquisition supports a growth strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Why this acquisition?
With this acquisition, FuturMaster integrates PlaniSense’s scheduling features into its Bloom platform.
The Bloom platform offers a suite of SaaS-based solutions for the end-to-end supply chain planning and revenue optimisation of large enterprises and mid-sized companies worldwide.
As a result, this integration helps with strategic planning, process optimisation, and real-time scheduling.
It improves accuracy, responsiveness, and control over the supply chain, benefiting manufacturers.
According to FuturMaster, companies in the food, luxury, cosmetics, automotive, and distribution industries can now use integrated solution that helps them cut costs and improve operational reliability.
Currently, clients including Heineken, L’Oréal, Forvia, LVMH, and Bel are using FuturMaster and PlaniSense solutions.
The new platform is used in more than 90 countries, providing companies with an infrastructure that is tailored to today’s market challenges, claims the company.
