Dutch startup Glampings.com secures €1M; aims to develop an AI travel advisor

Arnhem, The Netherlands-based Glampings.com, the booking platform for sophisticated and luxurious camping holidays in Europe, announced that it has raised €1M in growth capital injection.

Investors include Quantum Leap Capital, led by Mike de Boer, co-founder of KNAB, and Andre Grimbergen, founder of Albelli, as well as Bright Business, founded by serial entrepreneurs Bart van Went and Mike Verhoeven, with support from Business Angels Oost NL.

The Dutch company is on a mission to make luxury camping more accessible to a wide audience as well as to strengthen its position in the fast-growing glamping market.

The company will use the funds to develop its platform, expand its international offering, and accelerate its brand awareness within and across Europe.

The Dutch company plans to invest in AI integrations and the development of Predictive Behaviour Modelling. 

The company is planning to build a fully AI-powered travel consultant that personally helps our users find their perfect glamping holiday.

Founded by Sven Schuurmans and Tom Groenen, Glampings.com acts as a platform that focuses entirely on luxury camping experiences.

The aim is to connect travellers with comfortable accommodations that match their preferences.

The platform works with various glamping sites and industry professionals to help ensure guests have memorable experiences in nature.
