Netherlands-based hallo, a company that provides information and communications technology (ICT) to SMEs, announced on Wednesday, March 22, that it has acquired Dutch IT services and solutions provider Aumatics.
Founded in 2010, Zoetermeer-based Aumatics designs, implements and manages scalable and secure solutions, using technologies from Watchguard, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ESET, and Check Point, among others.
The company’s expertise is trusted with customers in various industries, including critical infrastructure. It is a Microsoft Gold partner and ISO 27001 certified, which is an internationally recognised specification for an Information Security Management System.
Since its inception, Aumatics claims to have grown into a renowned provider of high-quality ICT solutions, with an emphasis on security services, server and application hosting, cloud platforms, as well as process automation.
Aim of this acquisition
According to Aumatics’ founder Ed van Puffelen, the demands for IT services are increasing, for instance in the knowledge, security, service levels, and staff training sectors.
“In order to guarantee the high level of our services even better and to continue to offer our team challenges, we have entered into a partnership with hallo,” says Ed van Puffelen.
With this partnership, Aumatics aims to offer its clients a broad portfolio of services, with specialist knowledge of Cloud, infrastructure and security technology combined with “unparalleled service levels”.
Director of hallo, Barry Wissink, adds, “For hallo, the collaboration with Aumatics means a further deepening of our security offering, with premium solutions from various vendors such as Cortex XDR, Veeam, Pentera, Crowdstrike and Microsoft.”
“By combining the expertise and experience of Aumatics with the knowledge within hallo, we can provide our customers with an even higher quality and more complete range of ICT services.”
