High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) and its AI Innovation Center, announced on Thursday a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to increase the implementation and usage of AI services and machine learning (ML).
The collaboration will focus on educating and inspiring individuals and businesses about the transformative power of these technologies, which have become essential for a wide range of applications such as natural language processing, computer vision, fraud detection, and product recommendations.
High Tech Campus: Democratising access to AI & ML
To democratise access to AI and ML for customers, developers, data scientists, and researchers, AWS has a broad and deep portfolio of AI and ML services.
As part of the collaboration, AWS will deliver educational and inspirational sessions and events on High Tech Campus and showcase AI and ML demos at the AI Innovation Center.
The first event, focused on unlocking the potential of data in manufacturing, will take place on May 9, 2023, at the AI Innovation Center.
On May 23, 2023, AWS will address how to fine-tune and add Generative AI to products.
The AI Innovation Center, originally established in 2021, hosts a number of AI companies, including Axelera AI, cboost, Datacation, and Serendipity.
“Axelera AI already has a strong relationship with AWS,” says Fabrizio Del Maffeo, founder, and CEO of Axelera AI, one the fastest-growing residents of the AI Innovation Center.
“We have been using the AWS cloud for a long time and are delighted to now be able to collaborate closely in our AI ecosystem,” adds Maffeo.
With this collaboration, AWS aims to support these companies and the wider community in their pursuit of AI and ML innovation.
“AWS’ new role at the AI Innovation Center bolsters the centre’s core mission for open innovation and collaboration,” says Paul van Son, Founder of the AI Innovation Center.
“Working closely with industry leaders, such as AWS, is key to enabling the adoption of AI on Campus and throughout our region. AWS brings technical knowledge to the table and provides in-depth explorations of various tools and platforms,” says Paul van Son.
