Amsterdam-based Holland Capital, one of the first independent private equity firms in the Netherlands, announced on Friday, December 2, that it has backed Dutch-based Cuccibu and QSN, two renowned companies in the field of risk management with a focus on privacy and security consultancy.
With this investment, Holland Capital aims to ensure that both companies can achieve their ambitious expansion goals.
About Cuccibu and QSN
Founded in 2014, Cuccibu has established a significant presence in the information security, cyber security, and privacy consulting industries. The company mostly operates in the public sector – government, healthcare and education.
QSN, since its founding in 1997, claims to have earned a solid reputation for providing services in the fields of information security, occupational health and safety, and sustainability, among other risk management disciplines. Their Sassenheim office primarily caters to the Dutch commercial market.
A joint force!
Some of the key forces behind risk management include the digitalisation of organisations, an increase in laws and regulations, and an increase in cyberattacks. For clients in a variety of industries, such as privacy, information security, cyber security, quality management, occupational safety, and sustainability, Cuccibu and QSN design, implement, and maintain specialised risk management systems.
According to Holland Capital, a wide range of services to satisfy both public and commercial consumers can be developed by both companies joining forces. Additionally, this partnership gives workers chances to advance their own growth.
Hubert Verbeek, managing partner of Holland Capital, says, “Cuccibu and QSN are leading players in the risk management market. By joining forces the companies can grow faster and further expand their leading position in this emerging market. We are excited to support the management teams in the realisation of their growth plans.”
The current management and founders of both companies will remain actively involved. Both companies, which have offices in Sassenheim, Delft, and Eindhoven, employ around 90 people.
Tim Florack, CEO of Cuccibu, adds, “When looking for a partner we made a decision after careful deliberation. The decisive factor was our belief in a strong partnership based on our core values. Holland Capital offers us the opportunity to strengthen the Cuccibu proposition and to realise our ambitions. This step will lead to more development opportunities for our colleagues, while our customers can expect a stronger service portfolio.”
