Last update:

California-based Intel Corp and global investment firm DigitalBridge Group announced that it has formed Articul8, an independent company offering enterprise customers a secure generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) platform.

DigitalBridge Ventures, the venture arm of DigitalBridge, led the investment in Articul8.

Intel and a syndicate of notable venture investors, including Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group, have also secured equity stakes in the company.

What does Articul8 offer?

Articul8’s platform, developed with Intel’s intellectual property, ensures enterprise data security by containing customer data, training, and inference within the security perimeter.

Additionally, it offers customers flexibility with deployment options, allowing them to choose between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid setups. Arun Subramaniyan, former VP at Intel, is the CEO of Articul8.

This collaboration aims to drive GenAI adoption in the enterprise, with both companies strategically aligned on go-to-market initiatives.

Pat Gelsinger, Intel CEO says, “With its deep AI and HPC domain knowledge and enterprise-grade GenAI deployments, Articul8 is well positioned to deliver tangible business outcomes for Intel and our broader ecosystem of customers and partners. As Intel accelerates AI everywhere, we look forward to our continued collaboration with Articul8.”

Marc Ganzi, DigitalBridge CEO adds, “Every global enterprise today is challenged to integrate GenAI capabilities into their workflows.”

“Articul8 has built a scalable and easy-to-deploy GenAI software platform that is already enabling enterprises to unlock value from their proprietary data. We see GenAI as a pivotal force driving digital infrastructure, and we are pleased to collaborate with Intel to support Articul8’s growth.”

Articul8 provides a turnkey GenAI platform for large enterprises, offering speed, security, and cost-efficiency. Optimised on Intel hardware, including Xeon Scalable processors and Gaudi accelerators, it supports various hybrid infrastructures.

According to Intel, Articul8’s platform, initially deployed at Boston Consulting Group, has scaled to meet the needs of secure industries like finance, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications.

Rich Lesser, global chair of BCG says, “GenAI is at the forefront of our clients’ business strategy and needs. Our collaboration began nearly two years ago while the venture was still in the incubation stage at Intel. Since then, we have deployed Articul8 products for multiple clients seeking production-ready platforms with rapid time to market.”

Articul8ms to advance its market strategy and expand product offerings in the broader GenAI ecosystem.
