Amsterdam-based Invest-NL, a Dutch national financing and development institution, has injected €10M into SET Fund IV, managed by Dutch VC firm SET Ventures.
Other investors in Fund IV include the European Investment Fund (EIF), ABN AMRO Bank, Triodos and ASR.
The SET Fund IV focuses on backing companies leveraging digital technologies and data to drive the shift towards a carbon-free energy system.

SET Fund IV emphasises digital energy solutions crucial for the transition to a carbon-free economy.
By scaling existing solutions and leveraging the decreasing costs of solar, wind, and batteries, innovative business models accelerate the adoption of distributed energy systems by consumers and businesses.
SET Ventures and Invest-NL share a strategy centred on hardware-focused investments, crucial for energy transition. Both focus on the importance of innovation across the technology stack and look to capitalise on co-investment opportunities, particularly in larger Series A or subsequent funding rounds.
