Singapore-based Browzwear, a digital apparel development solutions provider, has acquired 100 per cent of Amsterdam’s Lalaland.ai. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2019 by Michael Musandu and Ugnius Rimša, Lalaland.ai developed the first AI-generated fashion models. The company enables brands to display garments on a wide range of body types and removes the need for photo shoots.

Lalaland.ai was founded with a goal to increase representation in fashion. It focuses on creating a design process that supports broader access and reduces waste. The company aims to drive change in established practices, encourages experimentation, and supports collaboration with emerging creators.
The acquisition of Lalaland.ai enhances Browzwear’s AI capabilities and gives Lalaland access to Browzwear’s global customer base, which includes brands, retailers, and manufacturers.
Aim of the acquisition
Lalaland.ai selected Browzwear for its contributions to AI-generated fashion models. In 2019, the Dutch company released its first model created without a camera.
Lalaland.ai provides AI models that reflect various body types and demographics. Its technology supports faster design-to-market processes and reduces the need for physical samples.
The platform promotes inclusivity and sustainability by minimising waste and increasing representation. Its approach aligns with Browzwear’s focus on digital product workflows.
Michael Musandu, Founder & CEO of Lalaland.ai, says, “When we first integrated Lalaland as a technology partner, the synergy was obvious. Our AI models perfectly complemented Browzwear’s best‑in‑class 3D pipeline. Joining forces now is a no‑brainer.”
“With immediate access to Browzwear’s massive customer base, we can scale our mission of making fashion more inclusive, sustainable, and lightning‑fast, while helping Browzwear become the industry’s first truly AI‑first platform.”
Greg Hanson, CEO of Browzwear, adds, “Our customers want absolute confidence in their digital twins. Lalaland’s hyper‑realistic, diverse AI models supercharge that trust and dramatically cut the time between concept and commerce.”
“Bringing Michael, Ugnius, and the Lalaland tech and team in‑house accelerates our vision to make AI the heartbeat of every stage in digital product creation.”
Lalaland.ai’s AI scientists and engineers will join Browzwear’s research and development team. Their combined efforts will focus on improving body-data accuracy, developing generative fit models, and streamlining automated imagery pipelines.
The move supports Browzwear’s goal of advancing 3D-AI automation and enabling a faster transition from “idea‑to‑digital‑twin in minutes”.
