Beyond the headlines of funding rounds, many of these startups actively seek to expand their teams.

Here’s the list of London-based companies that raised $10M and more last month. Some of them are hiring right now.

Autogen AI

Fundraised in July 2023: €20M

The London-based company uses large language models (LLMs) and custom-made Language Engines to help bid writing teams generate content backed by publicly and privately available data.

Last month, the company raised $22.3M (nearly €20M) in a fresh round of funding from UK-based venture capital firm Blossom Capital.

Ev.energy

The London company also launched its fleet management platform ‘Pando’ and ventured into the solar market with its solar home charging function, ev.energy SOLAR.

Last month, the company raised €29.8M in a Series B round of funding led by National Grid Partners (NGP). 

Entia

Entia aims to make life better for people receiving cancer treatment. The company has integrated at-home blood testing technologies and digital tools to give tailored insights into cancer patients’ treatment experiences.

The London company’s offering includes symptom and vitals tracking along with full blood count analysis that monitors neutropenia, a common and costly side effect of cancer treatment.

Last month, the company raised €18.61M in a Series A round of funding led by BGF and Parkwalk.

Zyber 365

Zyber 365 is a web3 startup that provides a robust, decentralised, and cyber-secured operating system which adheres to the fundamental principles of environmental sustainability. The company has designed solutions to enable interchain operability, to provide users with greater flexibility, seamless integration, and data sharing. 

Last month, the London-based company raised €91M in a Series A round of funding led by UK-based SRAM & MRAM Group, valuing the company at $1B. 

Sedna

Sedna is a data-driven communication platform for the global supply chain industry, designed to lighten the manual work of managing email and presenting data so teams can drive commercial success. 

The company was launched to reduce present email challenges like inbox overload, lost data, and siloed operations, and instead provide a solution that serves as a multipurpose workspace fit for the maritime supply chain by exposing the hidden value within email.

The London-based company raised €38M from global software investor Insight Partners last month. 

Raft

Raft is a provider of an intelligent logistics platform that empowers freight forwarders and customs brokers to automate shipment execution and collaborate effectively with their shipper end-customers.

The London company’s shipment portal allows customers to share both internal and third-party data with their end-customers including tools like multi-source container visibility, emissions reporting, and quote-to-book, an all-in-one digital portal that integrates with their Track Management System (TMS).

Last month, the company raised €27.26M in a Series B round of funding led by global VC investor Eight Roads.

Sylvera

Last month, London-based Sylvera raised €50.64M in a Series B round of funding led by Balderton Capital. 

Causaly

Tenpoint Therapeutics

Tenpoint Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing vision-restoring engineered cell-based therapeutics and in vivo reprogramming to address degenerative ocular diseases.

The company is addressing the ultimate cause of vision loss by replacing diseased cells with healthy ones to permanently restore vision. 

Tenpoint was established based on the pioneering work of its scientific founders from Moorfields Eye Hospital, University College London Institute of Ophthalmology, Institut de la Vision in Paris, and the University of Washington, who have developed engineered cell-based therapeutics and performed translational research to establish proof-of-concept.
