London-based Packfleet, a logistics startup, announced that its delivery operations will transition
to DHL, as the logistics giant continues to expand its green delivery services in London.
The announcement come around one year after raising €9.1M in a Series A round of funding, co-led by General Catalyst and Voyager.Â
Under this shift, DHL will take over Packfleet’s customer base and deliveries, offering its premium service not only in London but also nationwide.
As part of the transition, many of Packfleet’s drivers and warehouse staff will join DHL, providing continuity in service.
Over the past year, Packfleet has worked closely with DHL as its primary partner for nationwide deliveries.
Packfleet: Ceases its operation
With this transition, the Packfleet brand will also shut its operation after four years.
During this time, the company has served hundreds of merchants and delivered millions of parcels across London using electric vehicles.
Packfleet was founded in 2021 by former MOnzo employees — Design Hugo Cornejo, Tristan Thomas, and Josh Garnham.
The company specialised in delivery management platforms intended to help businesses of all sizes improve their delivery experience.
The company’s platform offers real-time tracking, estimated time of arrivals, and the ability to update addresses, delivery dates, and access instructions. This helps businesses offer a better delivery experience, increasing customer retention.
