Stockholm-based Lovable, an AI platform that lets anyone build end-to-end software by talking to AI, announced that it has just surpassed $100M (approximately €85.2M) in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in just eight months, and has amassed more than 2.3M active users.
This makes Lovable the fastest software company to grow from $1M to $100M of all time, faster than OpenAI, Cursor, and Wiz.
The announcement comes a week after raising €172M at $1.8B valuation in a Series A round led by Accel.
Fully Lovable agentic
The Swedish company also announced that it is now fully agentic, meaning it can now interpret a request, explore the users’ codebase, make the right changes, and fix issues along the way.
This means that customers can now tackle larger, more complex projects faster.
Fully agentic Lovable can now:
- Search the web in real-time to fetch documentation, content, images, or even screenshots needed to complete a task.
- Generate and edit images for the project.
- Inspect logs and network activity to identify and debug errors without users manually feeding in errors.
- Search a codebase to locate the exact files, functions, or components it needs.
- Read files on demand to understand an app’s structure and edit with full context.
The company has also launched a new Business Plan, which gives users enterprise-grade security, privacy, and control.
Enterprise customers, including Klarna, Hubspot, and Photoroom, are already building with Lovable.
Businesses in tech and traditional fields are using Lovable to quickly test new ideas, develop products faster, and update their internal tools without relying heavily on developer skills or availability. The plan now includes:
- Templates
- Self-serve SSO
- Private projects
- Data opt-out
Fastest-growing software company
Since launching at Slush in November 2024, Lovable has become the fastest-growing software company in the world.
Over 10 million projects have been created on Lovable, with more than 100,000 new projects each day. It also has active users in every country.
Unlike tools for professional developers, Lovable is designed for everyone, says the company. Both technical and non-technical people can create and host production-grade applications on Lovable.
Anton Osika, CEO and co-founder of Lovable, comments, “The biggest barrier to building businesses is coding. 99% of people have great ideas and can execute on a business, but they don’t know how to write code. Lovable means anyone can go from idea to software in minutes. Despite our rapid growth, we are still just beginning to understand what this means for people and businesses around the world. AI is unlocking the potential for people to build easily, create new companies at an unprecedented rate, and have a positive impact on the world.”
Lovable: Building software that builds software
Founded by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, Lovable offers a versatile AI-powered platform beyond traditional no-code tools, enabling users to create everything from basic websites to complex business applications like interactive dashboards, automation systems, and even full startups, all within a single platform.
It allows non-technical users to build software without coding while helping developers work up to 20 times faster than conventional methods.
At present, the startup operates with just 45 full-time employees.
Currently, the company serves more than 2.3M active users in over 200 countries worldwide.
