After nearly two decades, Next Web (TNW), once the Netherlands’ flagship tech conference and media brand, is shutting down.
The Financial Times (FT), which owns TNW, has decided to close both the conference and its editorial team by September 2025.
This bittersweet moment shows the resilience of the Dutch tech scene and how it is evolving – as one chapter ends, new events are starting to take their place.
