Amsterdam-based not8, a B2B startup that standardises the product development review process, announced via a LinkedIn post that it has secured €150K Innovation Loan from Rabobank, a Dutch multinational banking and financial services company.
The startup says it will use the funds to expand its workforce, continue improving the functionality of the platform, and accelerate its growth.
not8: Everything you need to know
Founded in 2022 by Yaroslav Medvedev (ex-McKinsey) and Vladislav Dekhanov (ex-Yandex), not8 aims to change how product review is done by turning any IT product into an advanced pin board, making the product review 10X faster.
The Dutch startup is tackling one of the major problems affecting IT firms that prioritise PLG (Product-led growth): product feedback.
According to not8, in order to achieve product-led growth, the product team must often examine a product and this procedure has to be improved.
Product managers, web designers, front-end engineers, and QA specialists squander tens of hours per week on pointless phone conversations, annotations on screenshots, and lengthy emails outlining essential improvements.
The not8 feedback tool streamlines the development process by allowing the product team to remark on any web-based product. “It is like leaving ‘sticky notes’ on your screen, making the process 10X faster and allowing IT companies to save 550+ hours per year,” says not8.
The technology also minimises the number of necessary review cycles, lowers the danger of information loss, and assists the product team in keeping all necessary information in one location.
The startup also has plans to add integrations with Jira, ClickUp and Trello in the near future (Q2 2023). However, currently, users can manually add a link to the task manager by copying it from a comment or the entire page.
