Novidam Capital Partners (NCP), a New York and Amsterdam-based private equity firm, announced the stock acquisition of the Netherlands-based Eclipse Group, a company that offers a Customer Communication Management-as-a-Service (CCMaaS) solution.
NCP focuses on tech-enabled service enterprises. By creating long-term partnerships, the firm claims it works with ‘exceptional’ management teams and entrepreneurs to help them create superior and sustainable businesses.
Eclipse Group’s vision
Founded in 2015, Eclipse works with customers to help them transition from analogue and physical point solutions to a digital-first strategy where all customer communication is integrated into a single platform.
By shutting down expensive legacy systems & point solutions, CCMaaS enables businesses to communicate via all available channels, manage all customer contact through a single platform, cut costs, and increase employee and NPS satisfaction.
Eclipse claims that its CCMaaS solution is a scalable and full-service SaaS application that is now in use in the Netherlands and is expanding abroad.
The company’s clients include KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, De Nederlandse Bank, Aegon, and various governmental agencies as well as large utility companies.
Gijs Le Blanc, co-founder of Eclipse, says, “With the new capabilities of our CCMaaS solution, we are well-positioned for the future. Together with Novidam Capital Partners and the new Board Members, we are positioned well to take the next steps in our journey.”
Aim of the acquisition
Eclipse Group and Novidam Capital Partners will continue to develop in Europe and the US, pursue a high-growth and creative roadmap, and uphold the trusted connections with current customers and partners.
Stijn Giesberts, Eclipse Group’s new CEO, says, “I’m honoured to work together with the outstanding Eclipse teams in the Netherlands and Macedonia.”
“Looking at the special technology Eclipse provides and the many happy customers we have, I’m more than confident that we will succeed in helping our existing and new clients in bringing their Customer Communications Management processes to the next level,” adds Giesberts.
Alexander Schuil, NCP’s Managing Partner, adds, “Together with Gijs le Blanc and the existing team, and under Stijn Giesberts’ leadership, we intend to remain the number one provider in the Customer Communication Management domain; adding services, reaching more departments within our existing client base, and, expanding internationally.”
