Copenhagen-based Omnidocs, a provider of document creation software, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Xential, a Dutch provider of document creation & collaboration software.
Notably, Main Capital Partners (Main) holds a majority stake in Omnidocs and Xential and will remain the majority shareholder after the transaction.
Post-acquisition, Xential will become a part of the Omnidocs Group.
The acquisition
The merger of Omnidocs and Xential creates a leading company in document generation in Europe, providing quality, accuracy, and reliability for the public sector and other regulated industries, especially for companies focused on their document output.
Both companies have established solid positions in their areas, and together, they offer a strong product lineup that is well-prepared for future growth in both the public and private sectors.
As a team, the Omnidocs Group will serve over 800 software customers across Europe and the US, including PwC, De Rechtsspraak, and Arcadis.
Xential: Solutions to create and manage documents
Based out of Holten, the Netherlands, Xential offers solutions for creating and managing documents anytime, anywhere and enhancing information control.
Currently, the company serves 300+ customers across (local) government agencies, accounting firms, employment agencies, and other end markets.
Xential has a strong market position in the Netherlands, as well as 100+ customers (and growing) in Germany.
