Brief about Orbital Eye
Orbital Eye BV, founded in 2012 by a team of experts in remote sensing and machine learning, envisions replacing traditional helicopter-based aerial inspections with advanced satellite observations.
The company has developed a capability to automatically process extensive radar and optical satellite images daily, covering thousands of square kilometers. It then automatically uploads alerts, offering situational awareness to inspectors, asset managers, and HSE officers.
Using sensors onboard satellites, the company ensures data quality, processed and analysed by its detection and filter algorithms. These algorithms distinguish relevant changes from irrelevant ones.
Orbital Eye’s services, offered as a Data Subscription model, require no upfront customer investments.
As a member of the S[&]T group, Orbital Eye has direct access to over 100 specialists in earth observation, big data processing, and software engineering, enhancing its capabilities and expertise.
S[&]T specialises in sensing and control systems, scientific data processing, intelligent software applications, and technical R&D consultancy.
