Last update:

Paris-based Fleet, a bootstrapped startup pioneering Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) for startups and SMEs, announced that it is expanding into the Netherlands.

Operating without external funding, the French company has rapidly scaled across markets such as France, Spain, Germany, and the UK + Ireland.

The company has closed 2024 with double-digit million in revenue.

Why the Netherlands?

According to the founder, the Netherlands’ openness to Opex models and circular IT aligns well with Fleet’s offering.

Famke Dijkman, Expansion Lead for the Netherlands, says, “Fleet manages the entire IT lifecycle, helping companies stay agile and efficient. We refresh hardware every three years, reduce downtime, and simplify operations.”

Founder and Chairman Alexandre Berriche says, “Our entry into the Netherlands is both strategic and personal. As a bootstrapped company, we prove there’s a strong demand for smart IT solutions across Europe’s SMEs.”

The French company will launch its services in the Netherlands on April 24, 2025.

An exclusive canal cruise on April 23, 2025, introduced Fleet to Amsterdam, allowing clients like Carbon Equity to network and celebrate this milestone while enjoying the city’s beautiful waterways.

Fleet: Managing workplace equipment

Founded in 2019 by Alexandre Berriche, Fleet delivers a streamlined Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) model.

The company allows businesses to lease and manage IT assets like laptops, phones, tablets, and furniture under a single monthly subscription.

The offer includes procurement, maintenance, insurance, user onboarding, and Mobile Device Management (MDM)—freeing up companies to focus on growth, not IT logistics.

The French company primarily serves startups and SMEs with 10 to 200 employees, a segment that often lacks dedicated IT teams.

Trusted by over 1,400 customers, including Carbon Equity in the Netherlands, Fleet works closely with VC communities such as Lakestar, Techstars, Visionaries Club, and Earlybird—bringing value to their startup ecosystems.
