Warsaw-based Restimo, a startup specialising in automating the restaurant landscape, announced on Tuesday that it has secured €465K in a Seed round of funding.

The funding comes from business angels, including Bartosz Majewski, co-founder of Casbeg, and Bartłomiej Kiszala, co-founder of Base CRM.

Additionally, a consortium of investors from the Sterling Angels association, led by Krzysztof Polak, participated in the round. It also includes the company’s clients, such as David Cao, owner of the UKIM restaurant

With this round, the company has raised €750K in funding to date.

The Polish company will use the funds to accelerate its growth, with plans for international expansion into Central and Eastern Europe, as well as Scandinavia.

“Since the previous investment round just over a year ago, we have achieved key milestones, such as becoming a leader among integrators and having the largest number of integrated systems from our partners in Poland. At the end of last year, we were also nominated for the prestigious Aulers Award in the Rookie of the Year category, which gives us even greater motivation to achieve our next business goals,” says Arek Bielecki, co-founder of Restimo.

Restimo: Driving restaurant digitisation

Founded by Arek Bielecki, Tomasz Marcińczyk, and Marcin Nowak, Restimo is developing an application for the gastronomy and q-commerce industry that integrates multiple systems and solves the problem of “tablet hell.”

The company’s application integrates multiple popular systems, offering a holistic solution for restaurants and shops.

By consolidating food delivery platforms, online ordering systems, courier services, and POS systems into a single user-friendly interface, the company empowers businesses to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences.

The company is serving renowned restaurant chains such as Costa Coffee, North Fish, and Thai Wok across over 30 cities in Poland.

The application has facilitated over 3 million orders, totalling €50M, demonstrating its unparalleled value proposition and market traction.

“Our vision is to develop technologies and tools that will help our clients increase sales, optimise operational processes, and above all, focus on their core business. Currently, many activities in restaurants (and beyond) are still done manually and on multiple different systems, so we are at the beginning of our journey,” adds Tomasz Marcińczyk, co-founder.
