Porto, Portugal-based Infraspeak, an Intelligent Maintenance Management Platform (IIMP), announced on Tuesday that it has raised €7.5M in a Series A extension round of funding from Bright Pixel.
The announcement comes eighteen months after raising €10M in funding in a Series A round in October 2021. Leading the round were Indico Capital Partners and Knight Capital, alongside existing investors Caixa Capital and Innovation Nest.
The fund will help the Portugal company accelerate its growth and expansion plans as well as drive impactful innovations within the organisation.
Fund utilisation
The Portuguese firm says it will use the extension funds to further develop the Infraspeak Network, a unique feature that will facilitate seamless collaboration between facilities managers and service providers, streamlining the entire workflow from quote submission to job completion.
As part of its expansion strategy, Infraspeak has entered new markets in Europe, including France and Denmark, as well as expanding further in Latin America, with a special focus on Ecuador and Peru.
The company aims to forge partnerships in these regions with key players in the industry to further extend their reach.
Infraspeak intends to invest significantly in building a highly skilled and motivated workforce to support its global expansion.
The funding has enabled the company to make five key hires:
- Ash Dharmakirthi (Ex-Seismic, Docusign, Symantec) as Regional Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland
- Britt Schimmel (Ex-Pleo, Booking.com) as Sales Enablement Manager
- Mireia Palmero (Ex-Productsup, Meta) as Solution Advisor EMEA
