Estonian PR-tech platform PRNEWS.IO secures seat in Google for Startups Cloud Program

Estonia-based PRNEWS.IO, a PR-tech platform, announced on Thursday, August 10, that it has secured a spot in “Google for Startups Cloud Program” to integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence into its digital communication strategies.

The announcement comes as Google gears to celebrate its 25th anniversary on September 7, 2023.

Among its celebratory milestones, the “Google for Startups Cloud Program” marks its first anniversary. Launched a year ago, the programme provides startups with the essential resources to kickstart their journey on Google Cloud.

The programme grants access to various resources, including Google Cloud credits, comprehensive training, technical and business support, and a wide range of offerings.

Additionally, the programme extends specific benefits tailored for Artificial Intelligence and Web3 development.

Leveraging the Google Cloud services, projects can conduct on-demand analysis of on-chain data and encrypt data while it is processed in real-time, enhancing security and efficiency. 

Eligibility and application process

The Google for Startups Cloud Program offers two programme tiers, Start and Scale, catering to eligible startups. Programme applications undergo review and approval, with eligibility criteria outlined on the programme’s website.

Talking about the programme’s purpose, Google says, “The Startup Program is designed to match your startup’s stage of growth, providing product and program engagement. We’re committed to helping you build a sustainable, successful business over the long term, and our goal is to provide you with the support, services, and technology to do so.”

PRNEWS.IO: Service-as-a-Product 

Founded by Ukrainians in Estonia in 2018, PRNEWS.IO operates on a service-as-a-product (SaaP) model, utilising big data to enable predictable brand communications through media stories. 

The company enables the global sharing of news and stories among media outlets, journalists, and bloggers.

Through the on-demand content marketing platform, businesses can buy spots for native format articles on 100,000 news websites across 198 countries with no long-term commitments or hiring process.

PRNEWS.IO empowers media planners to optimise audience metrics on news sites and, in turn, monetise media.

In 2022, the platform paid $1.815M to media outlets for brand-related content, bringing the total media fees to $9.75M since its inception

The platform recorded 2.2M visitors from 96 countries at the beginning of 2022.

The company is also a service provider of the Estonian government-issued digital identity and status program called e-Residency.
