Amsterdam-based Meetingselect, a meeting management platform to book small to complex meetings worldwide, announced on Monday, October 3, that it has acquired Utrecht-based hospitality tech company Cyberdigma.
Founded in 2001 by Marielle Sijgers and hospitality tech entrepreneur Ronald van den Hoff, Cyberdigma claims to have been a pioneer in innovating the meetings and workspace industry. Since 2007, the company has developed the software platform for Seats2meet.com, a meeting and coworking concept.

There is a real demand for new ways of working and smart solutions. By having our skilled technical team join forces with the team at Meetingselect, they will be able to faster deliver coworking and workspace meeting space booking solutions to both bookers and venues.”
Aim of this acquisition
Meetingselect says its aim is to advance the MICE sector (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibits). According to a statement, both companies have years of expertise offering technology and solutions to the meetings and hospitality sectors. They have been focused on using technology to innovate the market to provide the best possible consumer experience.
Recently, Meetingselect created a new technology – Instant Bookings, wherein online users can immediately reserve meeting places and workstations. Venues can utilise this method as a simple deployable widget on their website, brand it in their manner, and can serve their consumers with their methods of operation all at once.
Venues using Instant Bookings save on staff costs and boost efficiency. Also, yielding is an integral part of Instant Bookings. Cyberdigma supported Meetingselect in the research and development of this new technology.

Brief about Meetingselect
Meetingselect is a female-founded company. In 2007, founders Anouk Roohe and Judith Huisman were working in the hospitality business for worldwide hotel chains and conference venues. And after several years in the business, they saw the need for a more efficient method for scheduling and managing meetings. They continued to work with venture capital to realise their aim of providing ‘perfect’ digital solutions to all stakeholders.
Thus Meetingselect was founded. It is a cloud-based strategic meeting management tool that converts the conventional method of arranging meetings and groups by phone and email into an online experience.
The company provides simplified solutions in meeting automation that enable bookers and venues to have access to data, save money, and gain insights. Currently, the Amsterdam company has more than 500,000 locations in 150+ countries, from hotels and conference centres to event spaces and workspaces.
In June 2022, Meetingselect launched the Meetings for Trees initiative in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Hotels for Trees. The initiative provides a direct contribution to (re)forestation initiatives all around the world.
