For any business, being customer-centric is important as it could help them become profitable. However, most businesses struggle to understand and listen to their customers.
This is where Amsterdam-based platform Reveall looks to make a difference. The startup is on a mission to help businesses be more customer-centric by changing the way insights are gathered and shared.
In a recent development, the platform announced that it has raised €1.5M in its pre-Seed round of funding.
Investors
The round was led by Belgium-based Fortino Capital with additional investment from Amsterdam-based Dutch Founders Fund.
Marcel van der Heijden, Partner at Fortino Capital says, “Companies understand that a great customer experience is the ultimate competitive advantage. But they lack good tooling and a system-of-record for collecting data, creating insights and journeys, and actioning those into clear roadmaps. The Reveall team has experienced this challenge firsthand and set out to fix this. We’re excited to support them on the journey to deliver an all-in-one platform to customer-obsessed teams.”
Besides the current investors, Reveall also has the backing of Joris Leker and Nils van den Broek, founders of Dutch UX agency Valsplat. Having worked for over 20 years in the CX and UX space, they will be supporting the company to build the “very best product” in the market.
Making customer data actionable
Launched in July, 2021, by Ferdinand Goetzen and Marcel Hagedoorn, Reveall was founded to help companies bridge the gap between customer data and decision making. It is a software platform that helps teams make their customer research and feedback data actionable.
Goetzen says, “Most companies believe in the importance of understanding their customers’ needs, but they struggle to put that belief into practice. With the backing of Fortino Capital and Dutch Founders Fund, their experience will be invaluable in furthering our mission and helping us become the platform that companies use for gathering, understanding and acting upon their customer data.”
Reveall serves a number of industry-leading businesses, including WeTransfer, Signify, and PostNL.
Capital utilisation
The proceeds from this round will help the company expand its team and implement a product roadmap to help product and UX teams make the most of their customer insights.
Besides the fundraise, the Reveall founding team also announced the appointment of Dwayne Pascal as its new CTO. Pascal has previous experience of over 15 years as a seasoned technical product strategist, having led technology teams at companies like Vodafone, Amazon, and Skyscanner. In recent years, he also worked as a CTO and technical advisor to a number of startups in the UK.
